Try our Almond-Strawberry Yogurt (Serves 1)
Any fresh fruit (or combination of fruits) can be used in this recipe. Try blueberries, chopped apple, pear, peaches or pineapple.
1 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
1/3 cup sliced fresh strawberries
slivered almonds (for children over 4) or flaxseed meal
Layer the yogurt and strawberries in a parfait glass, or serve the yogurt in a small bowl with the berries arranged on top. Frizzle honey over the top if plain yogurt is used. Sprinkle with almonds or flaxseed meal just before serving.
